The Doncaster Enterprise for Learning (DE4L) project is one of eleven strands of Doncaster's , a three year programme funded by the Government’s Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI). The DE4L strand of Success Doncaster has been developed by a consortium of seven organizations (partners) with a track record in supporting enterprise related learning across Doncaster, to offer a planned and coordinated approach to Doncaster schools and businesses that will support them in understanding and implementing mainstream enterprise learning in schools and business objectives, to enable collaborations between schools and businesses, and to develop employer/school activities to support the requirement for ever increasing employer involvement, particularly with the onset of the new specialised diplomas.

The DE4L project aims to

• Increase the capability of Doncaster schools to embed enterprise into the curriculum.
• Increase the capability of teaching staff to deliver enterprise programmes.
• Provide support and opportunities for pupils to test enterprise ideas.
• Support the increasing vocational curriculum and new specialised diplomas in terms of enterprise awareness and enterprising skills.
