Calling all would be entrepreneurs!

Showcase your business ideas in a visual presentation to a panel of potential investors.

Your presentation might be a ‘storyboard’ of photographs (as from this school on the Isle of Lewis http://www.sgoilabhac.org.uk/p4-5e-enterprise.htm). You can present your photographs electronically as a ‘webpage’ or PowerPoint slide show, or you can use a photo album or design a poster. If you prefer you can present your business idea on a short video.

Business ideas should fall into one, or more, of the following themes:

• Recycling / environmental issues
• Community /self help / local solutions to local problems
• Inventions / making things/ new ways of solving problems
• Providing services

We are looking for entries from school classes/groups or from individual students.

All entries from school classes/groups will receive a Certificate. The winning entries from a primary school and a secondary school will each receive a prize of £250!

All individual students entering the Bright ideas competition will receive a USB memory stick. The winning entries from a primary school student and a secondary school student will each receive an iPod!
