Doncaster Bright ideas 2011
 



The Doncaster’ Bright Ideas’ competition sponsored by my-work-experience.com in 2008/9 was very successful in promoting entrepreneurship and stimulating learning about, through and for the concept of enterprise and business in both Primary, Secondary and Special schools.

To mark Global Enterprise Week 2010, and the climax of the DE4L Project, my-work-experience.com is delighted to announce the launch of Doncaster Bright Ideas 2011 competition. This competition  is open to teams of young people, of all ages, within Doncaster Primary, Secondary and Special schools and Doncaster College. It will enable the young people to develop and present their business ideas on-line, providing an exciting and unique opportunity for developing the skills and knowledge of young entrepreneurs.

Young people will be encouraged, guided and helped through this competition to develop business ideas. For example business ideas could be developed in the following areas:

Schools will be invited to enter teams for the competition, and all the young people who take part will be awarded a Certificate.

The winning entries from a primary team, a secondary school team, a special school team and a sixth form / college team will each receive a cash prize of £250!

There will be a cash prize of £250 for the entry judged to be the overall winner.

The secondary school winner of the Bright Ideas competition for 2008 was Heatherwood School with their mini enterprise project 'Gifts Galore'
